Kyle Fine, of Bridgewater and formerly Raritan, died on Feb. 19, according to his obituary from Branchburg Funeral Home.

He worked as an educator and counselor for Jointure, earning a reputation for his kindness and dedication to his students, his obituary reads. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening, playing video games, and watching reality TV, with Housewives and RuPaul’s Drag Race among his favorites, the funeral home website said.

A GoFundMe campaign organized by Ashley Meyer has raised $3,400 as of press time to fund the memorial bench at Duke Island Park, a place that held special meaning to Kyle.

“Kyle was a kind, compassionate, and selfless person who touched the lives of so many,” Meyer wrote on the fundraiser page. “This bench will serve as a lasting tribute to his memory, offering a peaceful space where friends, family, and visitors can reflect and remember him.”

The fundraiser encourages donations to help bring the tribute to life. “Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to honoring Kyle in a way that truly represents the love and light he shared with the world,” Meyer wrote.

Kyle is survived by his mother, Wendy Fine, his fiancé, Cody Schwarz, and several siblings, nieces, nephews, and extended family, according to Branchburg Funeral Home. He is preceded in death by his father, Paul Fine.
