Car Crashes Into Home: Bernardsville FD
A car overturned and crashed into a home in Bernardsville on Sunday evening, Nov. 3, authorities said. At 11:10 p.m., firefighters responded to the crash on Pill Hill Road and found car partially overturned and into a home, Bernardsville Fire Co. No. 1 & First Aid Squad said. Firefighters were able to stabilize the car and both occupants had minor injuries, authorities said. The occupants of the home were unharmed and the home was checked for hazardous structural damage, authorities said.

Ocean Township School District Offers Support After Student Hospitalized In Apartment Fire
A Monmouth County school community was rallying to support a family whose child was severely injured in an apartment fire, officials said. A Wayside Elementary School student was in stable condition at a hospital, Township of Ocean School District superintendent Kelly Weldon said in a letter to families on Monday, Oct. 28. Driver Dies, Two Injured In Fiery Garden State Parkway Crash In Tinton Falls: Troopers
A driver was killed and two others were hospitalized in a crash on the Garden State Parkway in Tinton Falls, authorities said. Troopers responded to the southbound side of the parkway at around 4:20 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26, a state police spokesperson said. Investigators said a Honda Accord and Honda Civic crashed head-on near milepost 102.8. A Volkswagen Jetta hit the back of the Civic, causing the Honda to catch fire. Man Seriously Injured After Crash On Route 287:

A man suffered serious injuries following a collision on Route 287 in Somerset County on the afternoon of Friday, Oct. 18. At 5:18 p.m., a Ford pickup truck was traveling northbound on Route 287 in Bridgewater Township when it veered off the roadway to the right, struck the guardrail and then crossed into another lane, and hit another guardrail, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The driver, a 66-year-old Lake Hopatcong resident sustained serious injuries, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

A spare tire sent flying on the Garden State Parkway left a 21-year-old motorist seriously injured on Friday, Oct. 18, police said. A train operator was killed and multiple others hurt after a tree fell on an NJ Transit train Monday morning, Oct. 14 in Burlington County. The incident happened around 6 a.m. on the River LINE train, which had been heading north from Trenton when it struck a tree south of the Roebling Station in Mansfield Township, an NJ Transit spokesperson said. A Toms River man was accused of intentionally starting a fire in Brick Township, injuring three firefighters, authorities said. A Trenton man was found guilty of shooting and paralyzing another man more than two years ago, authorities said. A jury convicted 40-year-old Henry Hutchinson on all counts on Wednesday, Sept. 25, Acting Mercer County Prosecutor Theresa Hilton said in a news release. A Lakewood man was killed when he was struck after rolling over his car, authorities said. Yosimar Quirozcisneros, 23, died in the crash on Saturday, Sept. 14, a Lakewood Police Department spokesperson said.
