During a traffic stop on Route 31, officers discovered Yasir Fahmy, a 29-year-old Clinton resident and Kaitlyn Verhoest, a 21-year-old Lebanon resident were found to be in possession of heroin, suboxone, crack cocaine, bottles of synthetic urine and a knife, Clinton Township police said. At 7:47 p.m., officers responded to Route 31 and East Main Street and found a 52-year-old Stockton woman struck by a vehicle, Raritan police said. Man Killed In Route 31 Crash After Car Overturns In Ditch: Police A 56-year-old Columbia resident was killed in a car crash on Route 31 in Warren County on the morning of Monday, Oct. 14, authorities said. At 5:43 a.m., officers responded to the car crash where they found a Chevy Avalanche had overturned, Washington Township police said. A preliminary investigation revealed the Chevy was traveling southbound on Route 31 north when it left the roadway, striking the guardrail and bridge abutment before rolling over into a ditch, police said. Details Released In Deadly Dump Truck Crash In North Jersey Town Authorities have released details in a dump truck crash on Route 31 in Clinton Township that left one person dead on Tuesday, June 18. A 66-year-old man was operating a dump truck that collided with a Toyota sedan driven by a 64-year-old woman around 2:20 p.m. in front of Riley and Jake's Restaurant, the Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office said. Both vehicles were heading north. The Toyota then entered the southbound lane and collided with a Volkswagen, operated by a 17-year-old girl.
