Police have identified the 47-year-old motorcyclist killed in a crash on Sunday, Sept. 15 in Somerset County. Belle Mead's Kevin Duwane Williams was hospitalized after the crash on South Main Street and Roosevelt Avenue in Manville around 5:30 p.m., Somerset County Prosecutor John McDonald previously said. He was taken to a local trauma hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, authorities said. A man riding an electronic bicycle was killed while crossing a road in Marlboro, authorities said. The 74-year-old man died after the crash, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago said in a news release on Thursday, Sept. 12. Several horses were medically treated after the trailers they were being towed in were struck on the New Jersey Turnpike Tuesday, Sept. 10, firefighters said. The crash happened at the intersection of Route 9 and Schank Road (Route 79) in Freehold Township, the state Department of Transportation said at 3:06 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21.
