Person Fatally Shot At Long Branch Housing Complex: Prosecutor

The shooting occurred around noon on Garrett Drive in the John R. Lewis Commons housing complex, the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office said. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made, authorities said. The shooting remains under investigation by the Monmouth County Major Crimes Bureau and the Long Branch Police Department, authorities said.
