Man On The Run For 11 Years Convicted In Newark Murder, Prosecutor Says A 49-year-old former Newark resident was convicted on Wednesday, June 12, in a 2009 Newark homicide after he spent 11 years on the run, authorities said. In May 2009, Cesar Campos and his conspirators killed Ricky Lauracuent using a knife outside the Pink Cat Lounge, Essex County Prosecutor Theodore Stephens, II said.  Campos was convicted of conspiracy to commit murder, aggravated manslaughter and multiple weapons offenses, Stephens said. Former NJ Child Services Caseworker Admits Collecting Kid Porn 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘: A 57-year-old former caseworker for the New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency admitted collecting images of victims as young as toddlers being sexually abused, federal authorities said.
