Police ID Pedestrians Killed By Car In Toms River Two pedestrians were struck and killed by an 18-year-old driver while crossing a Toms River street on Tuesday night, Feb. 18, police said. A Toms River man was traveling north in a Toyota Corolla on Fischer Boulevard when he struck  72-year-old Craig Parson and 68-year-old Debra Wright, just before 7 p.m. near Hazelwood Road, Lt. Ron Sermarini said. Parson and Wright were crossing the roadway from east to west when they were hit, police said. The former Rutgers University wrestler won a bronze medal representing Puerto Rico at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
