Man Fled To Florida After Fatally Striking, Dragging Asbury Park Teen With Vehicle: Prosecutor A 23-year-old Millstone Township man has been extradited back to Monmouth County from Florida after he hit a teen with his vehicle last month and fled the scene, authorities said. On Tuesday, Feb. 11 at 4:02 p.m., the Neptune Township and Asbury Park police departments responded to Stratford Avenue between Fisher and Myrtle Avenue and found Kyzair Robinson, a 19-year-old Asbury Park resident lying in the roadway with severe injuries, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago said. Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Vehicle On Route 18: East Brunswick PD A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle on Route 18 in East Brunswick on the evening of Wednesday, Feb. 19, authorities said. At 11:57 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Highway 18 northbound and South Woodland Drive for the report of a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle, East Brunswick police said. The pedestrian, whose identity is currently unconfirmed, was pronounced dead, police said. The driver of the vehicle was uninjured and remained at the scene of the crash, police said. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, police said.

Alfred Mottola II, 66, died in the crash on Route 152 near the Somers Point border, the Egg Harbor Township Police Department said in a news release. Officers responded to the scene at around 8:13 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19. Investigators said Mottola was heading west on a 2023 Harley-Davidson motorcycle near Graef Boat Yard when he crossed the center line into the eastbound lane. Man, 21, Dies In Motorcycle Crash On I-295 In Central Jersey, Troopers Say A Millville man was killed when his motorcycle crashed on Interstate 295 in Mercer County, authorities said. John Marion, 21, died in the crash on Wednesday, Nov. 6, a state police spokesperson said. It happened on I-295 North near milepost 65.4 in Hamilton Township at around 11:49 a.m. Investigators said Marion was driving a Kawasaki motorcycle and struck the back of a Mini Cooper. His motorcycle overturned and he was ejected. Marion was pronounced dead at the scene. No injuries were reported in the Mini Cooper. The crash remained under investigation.
