Republicans Have Overtaken Dems In Early Voting, Poll Says: Where To Vote In Passaic County
As of Friday afternoon, Oct. 25, more than 35 million people have already voted in the United States, according to the University of Florida Election Lab's early voter tracker.
Five million of those voters showed up early and in person, the lab said. Just over 2 million of those voters are Republicans, and 1.5 million are Democrats, according to the lab.
New Jersey hasn't had that option — until now.
On Saturday, Oct. 26, early, in-person voting will open across the Garden State.

Gabriela Ayala-Cortes, Essex County Mom, Dies At 45
Gabriela Ayala-Cortes, a mom and Verona resident, died on Thursday, Oct. 10 at the age of 45 of cancer, according to her obituary on the Shooks Cedar Grove Funeral Home.
Born in Ecuador, Ayala-Cortes emigrated to the United States in 2003, her obituary reads. She worked as the director of regulatory affairs operations for Organon and Company in Jersey City, according to her obituary.
She is survived her husband, Carlos, her children, Camila and Isabella, her parents Rodrigo and Marcia, and numerous other family members and friends, her obituary reads.

18 Unsolved Burglaries Cracked: Pair Arrested In Months-Long North Jersey Spree
Two men have been arrested and charged in 18 burglaries and one attempted burglary across North Jersey, authorities said.
A months-long investigation found Kali J. Carter, 49, of East Orange, and Demetrius D. Hale, 49, of Bergenfield, were responsible for the incidents, all of which were residential burglaries, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
