Totowa Mom Rallying For Jailed Son, 35, After Police Uncover Cache Of Illegal Weapons
A Passaic County woman has launched a fundraiser in an effort to help her son who remains jailed after authorities uncovered his massive stash of firearms, high-capacity magazines, and other illegal items last week.
Cheryl Arena's GoFundMe for Kyle Arena, of Totowa, had raised more than $14,000 as of Sunday night, Sept. 29. Arena explains on the campaign that her 35-year-old son was "pinched" after a disgruntled Facebook user filed a complaint against him, prompting authorities to search the house he lives in with his parents, as previously reported by Daily Voice.

Paterson Officer Shoplifted From Marshalls While Working Security Detail: Prosecutor
A Paterson police officer is accused of shoplifting while working a security detail, authorities announced.
Jeury DeJesus-Rodriguez, 25, of Paterson, was working the detail at the Marshalls store when he took several items of clothing into an employee bathroom and removed the packaging and price tags, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes said.
He then left the store without paying for the clothing. The combined retail value of the clothing was $66.97, according to Valdes.

Anthony "Tony" Camal, a world-renowned Judo master and Paterson firefighter, died on Monday, July 29, according to his obituary on the Festa Memorial website. He was 63 years old.
Raised in Inwood, NY, Camal later moved to Totowa and Paterson, where he served for 15 years on the fire department before retiring as captain in 2013. He later settled in Woodland Park.
