Patty Alarcon Cinardo Of North Arlington Dies, 39 Patricia "Patty" Alarcon Cinardo died on Tuesday, Sept. 10, according to her obituary on the Nazare Memorial website. She was 39 years old. Born in Ecuador, Patty came to the United States at 9 years old with her family and lived in Brooklyn, then Kearny and Harrison, her obituary says. The crash happened just before 6 p.m. at Chews Landing Road near Little Gloucester Road in Gloucester Township, police said. Upon arrival, officers found the injured juvenile in the roadway. Teen Girl Killed In Philadelphia A 13-year-old girl was shot and killed Wednesday, Sept. 18 in Philadelphia, authorities said. The black female was found on the 2800 block of N Bailey Street having suffered a gunshot wound to the right side of her chest just after 7:35 p.m., police said. She was taken by police to Temple University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead just after 8 p.m. The scene remains secured, and investigators are actively working on the case. NJ Transit Driver Assaulted By 7 Juveniles In Paterson A NJ Transit bus driver was hospitalized following an assault carried out by a group of juveniles in Paterson on Wednesday, Sept. 18, authorities said. An NJ Transit spokesperson said the attack happened just after 4:30 p.m. on the 171 line at the Broadway Bus Terminal. The operator was treated on scene by emergency medical personnel and taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The incident remains under investigation by NJT police.
