Wildfire Near Large South Jersey Sculpture Deemed Suspicious, State Police Investigating Troopers were asking for the public's help after a wildfire near a well-known sculpture in Hainesport was ruled suspicious, authorities said. State police have launched an investigation into the Big Rusty Wildfire, troopers said in a Facebook post on Thursday, Nov. 21. The blaze that ignited near Bancroft Lane and Cove Court on Monday, Nov. 18 scorched 40 acres and threatened 20 homes. The New Jersey Forest Fire Service said no evacuations were needed and the wildfire was fully contained by 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 20. U.S. Army Vet, Freehold Dad Joseph 'Joey' Black Dies, 30 Shock and sadness spread following the death of Freehold's Joseph "Joey" Black, who passed away on Sunday, Nov. 10 in Jackson, his obituary on the Old Bridge Funeral Home website says. He was 30 years old. Joey proudly served in the US Army from 2014 to 2017, where he was stationed in Korea as a skilled tank operator and member of the Panthers, later receiving an honorable discharge.  After his military service, he worked as a trackman for NJ Path Train Union TWU, known for his dedication and camaraderie. The Gaslight Anthem, Asbury Park Brewery Release Special Beer Before Concert At The Stone Pony A New Jersey alternative rock band is releasing a special beer right before playing at an iconic Asbury Park concert venue. The Gaslight Anthem is partnering with Asbury Park Brewery to create "Stay Lucky," a limited-edition beer to be sold starting on Thursday, Aug. 15, the brewery said in a news release. The band that formed in New Brunswick in 2006 will perform at The Stone Pony on Friday, Aug. 16. Stay Lucky is a hazy IPA with peach and mango aromas with a 6.5 percent ABV. It's named after the second song on the band's 2010 album 'American Slang'. The brewery said Stay Lucky …
