A 32-year-old Camden man was killed in a double shooting on the evening of Wednesday, March 12, authorities said. At 10:29 p.m., officers responded to 300 block of Morse Street after receiving a ShotSpotter detection and found Jose Hiraldo-Peralta with multiple gunshot wounds, Camden County Prosecutor Grace MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez said. A 28-year-old Mays Landing man was fatally shot in Hamilton Township on Saturday, March 2, authorities said. At 7:21 a.m., police responded to the Hamilton Green Apartments and found Kevin Schmalz dead from an apparent gunshot wound, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said. A homicide investigation is ongoing, but there is no threat to the public. authorities said. A 24-year-old man was shot in Vineland on Saturday, Feb. 1, authorities said. At 6:27 p.m., officers responded to a residence on the 1200 block of Ashwood Court for a shooting and found the victim with a single gunshot wound, Vineland police said. Authorities have released additional information in the double shooting Wednesday, June 12 in Carteret. Two females were found having suffered gunshot wounds on Roosevelt Avenue around 9 a.m., and were airlifted to area hospitals, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Carteret Police Chief Dennis McFadden said.
