Wrong-Way Driver Dies From Injuries In Bridgeport Crash Days After His Birthday A Connecticut man died from his injuries days after allegedly causing a three-car crash while driving the wrong way on a Fairfield County highway, authorities said. Robert Mancini, 70, of Fairfield, was involved in the crash on Sunday, Jan. 19, after driving north on southbound lanes of Route 8 near Exit 4 in Bridgeport, according to Connecticut State Police.
