Motorcyclist, 39, Killed In Sussex County Crash
A 39-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a Sussex County crash over the weekend. Frank Jimeno, of West New York, was heading north on Route 23 on a KTM motorcycle when he veered off the side of the roadway to the right and struck a guardrail in Montague Township at milepost 50 Sunday, Oct. 6 around 10:30 a.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. Jimeno died as a result of the crash, which remains under investigation.

Motorcyclist Killed By Falling Tree On Route 46
A 32-year-old Hackettstown motorcyclist was killed after he was struck by a falling tree on Route 46 on Sunday, Oct. 6, authorities said. At 3:58 p.m., Travis Worrell was traveling westbound on a Honda motorcycle in White Township when a tree fell into the roadway and struck him, causing the motorcycle to overturn, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. Worrell was ejected from the motorcycle and sustained fatal injuries, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

2 Motorcyclists Hospitalized With Serious Injuries In Route 80 Crash
A pair of motorcyclists were hospitalized with serious injuries when one struck the other on Route 80 in Warren County on Saturday, Oct. 5. The Kawasaki and Aprilia motorcycle were traveling east on Route 80 when the 33-year-old Aprilla operator struck the rear of the Kawasaki around 6 p.m. at milepost 12.6 in Hope Township, New Jersey State Polie Sgt. Central Jersey Motorcyclist Crashes Into Moose, Dies On I-95 In Maine: Troopers
A Princeton man was killed when his motorcycle struck a moose on Interstate 95 in northern Maine, authorities said. Anand Sreedharan, 50, died in the crash on Monday, Sept. 30, Maine State Police said in a news release on Wednesday, Oct. 2. It happened on I-95 South near milepost 240 in an unincorporated area about five miles south of the town of Medway. Investigators said the moose crossed into Sreedharan's lane and was hit by the motorcycle. Sreedharan was ejected from the bike and pronounced dead at the scene. A motorcyclist had to be airlifted to a nearby hospital after he crashed on Route 46 in Warren County on Wednesday, Sept. 18, authorities said. At 6:15 p.m., a Kawasaki motorcycle traveling westbound on Route 46 in Liberty Township lost control and veered off the right side of the road, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to a local hospital, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.
