Hundreds Without Power In Hunterdon County Hundreds of New Jersey residents were without power on Wednesday morning, Dec. 11, JCPL reports. According to the company's outage map, 241 customers were in the dark in Washington Township as gusty winds began to sweep through the region. In Morris Township, 74 customers were in the dark, and 18 had no power in Morristown. The outage map showed 248 customers were without power in Long Valley and Tewksbury as well. Meanwhile, in Woodbridge (Middlesex County), 552 PSE&G customers did not have power as of 9:20 a.m.

NJ Transit Train Evacuated In Morris County Due To Smoke Condition: Officials An NJ Transit traveling from Hoboken to Lake Hopatcong had to be evacuated in Morris County due to a smoke condition on the evening of Monday, Sept. 16, authorities said. The Morris & Essex train 807 departed Hoboken at 5:28 p.m. and was scheduled to arrive in Lake Hopatcog at 7 p.m., a spokesperson for NJ Transit said. It was evacuated at Convent Station in Morris Township due to a smoke condition in one of the cars, a spokesman said. No injuries were reported among the 50 customers and crew, authorities said.
