Paterson detectives crashed a major drug operation in a quiet residential neighborhood, seizing a kilo of cocaine, a half-dozen illegal guns, 680 rounds of ammunition and nearly 50 pounds of pot.
Jonathan Leon, 30, kept a low profile while keeping an array of firearms and a sizable amount of drugs in the modest house on Grand Street off Reservoir Street near westbound Route 80, Police Director Jerry Speziale said.

A two-month-long investigation identified a residence in Seaside Heights being utilized by Jimmey Bryant, Jr., and Ceeyanna Pringle, to store and distribute drugs, authorities said.
On Friday, March 18, detectives from the Ocean County Narcotics Strike Force, Ocean County Regional SWAT Team, Seaside Heights Police Department Detective Bureau, Seaside Heights Police Department Patrol Division, and Ocean County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit, made a warranted search on the residence, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. A Connecticut passenger pointed a handgun at a New Jersey State Police trooper during a pursuit on Route 287, authorities said Monday.
The pursuit, which began in Boonton, ended in a Mahwah park with the gunman and driver in custody and four weapons seized, NJSP Trooper Charles Marchan said.
A trooper tried to stop the Jeep Cherokee for a traffic violation on northbound Route 287 in Boonton Township shortly after 11 a.m. Sunday, Marchan said.
The driver, identified as ex-con Theron Brown, 22, of Bridgeport, CT, hit the gas instead and sped off, he said.
