The victim of a recent murder that rattled a small New Jersey town has been identified in various social media posts and by a campaign launched for her family as a 21-year-old animal lover.
Amanda Pulver, of Hackettstown, was shot and killed on Thursday, June 27, the Warren County Prosecutor's Office said. Amanda's 8-month-old puppy, Dunkin, was also apparently killed.

A 32-year-old New Jersey man has been arrested on accusations he hid a cell phone to record people using a bathroom in a family home.
Macarius Salib, of Marlboro, hid the phone in a laundry basket in the bathroom of a Pohatcong last March, to capture two adults and a 16-year-old, according to a release from the Warren County Prosecutor's Office.
Salib, a family friend, accessed the videos using a second cell phone, the prosecutor's office said.

IN Cold Blood (Update): Trio Charged With Killing Kidnapped Newark Man Alongside Route 80
UPDATE: Three Newark men have been charged by New Jersey State Police with shooting and killing a fellow Brick City resident and leaving his body alongside Route 80.
Two of them – William Dixon, 24, and Nishir Rios-Figueroa, 30 – were already in custody in connection with other crimes, State Police said on Tuesday. They captured the third, Mustafa Manns, 28, in Newark.

A man who formerly resided in Warren County was charged with raping a child numerous times over the course of several years, authorities said.
Barry F. Miller, 48, was in Phillipsburg when he performed “multiple acts of sexual penetration, specifically oral, and anal penetration,” as well as other sexual contact on a child, Warren County Prosecutor James L. Pfeiffer said in a Tuesday release.
The abuse, which occurred between 1995 and 1998, began when the child was under 13 and continued into their teenage years, Pfeiffer said.
