Two men were hospitalized when a car and an SUV crashed in Medford, authorities said. Emergency crews responded to the crash near the intersection of Route 70 and Medford-Mt. Holly Road (Burlington County Route 541) at around 8:24 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24, the Medford Township Police Department said in a news release on Thursday, Sept. 26. A 22-year-old South Jersey driver was killed after hitting two other vehicles in a high-speed, head-on crash on Friday, March 22, police said. The unnamed driver from Berlin was headed south on Haddonfield Berlin Road in a 2008 Honda at a high rate of speed when they struck a 2024 Lexus SUV being operated by a 53-year-old Atco resident just before 10:10 p.m. near Lafayette Avenue in Voorhees, local police said. A 25-year-old Evesham man was arrested in the deadly stabbing of a 26-year-old man and his beloved dog "Django" after showing up to an emergency room for treatment early Saturday, Feb. 5, authorities said. Donovan G. Hollingsworth and the victim, Thomas Pierson III, got into a fight at a residence in the Olympus Apartments on Baker Boulevard around 9:15 a.m., Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina said.
