Third Victim Killed In White House Lightning Strike Was LA Bank Employee, 29, On Business Trip A 29-year-old Los Angeles bank employee in Washington DC for business has been identified as the third person to die after being struck by lightning this week near the White House, his employer announced. Brooks A. Body Of Missing EU Delegate From Bethesda Found Two Months After Disappearance The body of Sibylle Zitko, a missing EU delegate from Bethesda who was reported missing in January, has been found.  Zitko, 54, went missing from the Lock 7 area of the C&O Canal around 6 a.m. on Jan. 6, the US Park Police originally reported.  Her body was located after someone reported finding a woman’s body in the area of Lock 5 of the park on Friday, March 8, Bethesda Magazine reports. Park Police officially cancelled the search for Zitko on Friday, March 18 after the Maryland Office of the Chief Medical Examiner positively identified the body as Zitko's.  pic.twitter.com/LYxW…

NJ Driver Who Rammed Washington Monument Barrier 'Did Figure 8s,' Witness Says A New Jersey man who was arrested after ramming a security barrier at the Washington Monument on July 4th deliberately drove at people, then claimed the government was trying to kill him, witnesses said. U.S. Park Police in Washington, D.C., identified the man as Jack Joseph Dessin, 38, of New Jersey without saying what town he is from. Dessin remained in federal custody, charged with attempted assault with a dangerous weapon and destruction of government property, pending a first appearance before a U.S. magistrate judge.
