Bronx Man Arrested For Trying To Steal Mail In Mercer County: Police
A 30-year-old man from the Bronx was arrested by police in Mercer County for attempting to steal mail from a Post Office mailbox, authorities said. On Monday, July 17, Lawrence Township Police Detective Dean Sawasky was conducting surveillance in the area of the United States Post Office (Circle Branch) located at 2601 Brunswick Pike in Lawrenceville, police said. Surveillance was being conducted as a result of the recent uptick of mail theft incidents occurring from U.S. Postal mailboxes in the area, they said.
