Based on a preliminary investigation Rafael Colin Salinas, of Tabernacle Township, was operating a Nissan Titan south on Route 206, according to New Jersey State Police. The crash occurred at about 9 a.m. Monday, June 26. Salinas stopped to make a left turn onto a property, State Police said. A Freightliner M2 was being operated behind the Nissan Titan. Charles Young, of Somerset, was driving a 2018 Jeep Wrangler and hit a 2018 Nissan Rogue driven by Wallace Wilder of Charlotte, North Carolina, in the westbound lanes at the intersection of the MetLife facility in Bridgewater around 11:58 p.m., police said. The crash occurred at 4:54 p.m. on Tuesday, June 20 when the 70-year-old driver of a Honda CRV made a left turn at the intersection of Route 206 and County Road 670 in Springfield Township, according to New Jersey State Police Trooper Charles Marchan The southbound Yamaha motorcycle collided with the Honda in the intersection, he said. On Monday, June 12 at 5:10 p.m., the woman from  Springbrook Township, PA was crossing Bay Avenue at the intersection of 9th Street in Beach Haven, police said. Preliminary information indicates in the area of milepost 60.5, the driver of a Toyota RAV 4 lost control and came to rest in the roadway, according to Lt. Lawrence Peele of the State Police. The crash occurred at 2:06 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17 at milepost 1 in Metuchen, according to Sgt. Philip Curry, a spokesman for the the New Jersey State Police. Multiple vehicles were involved in the crash including a dump truck that overturned and spilled dirt across the roadway, Curry said. No serious injuries were reported and I-287 was re-opened approximately 2.5 hours after the crash occurred, he said.
