Firefighters responded to the wreck near the intersection of Tennent Road and Wooleytown Road at around 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 1, the Morganville Fire Department said in a Facebook post. Fatal Crash Reported On Jersey Shore: Police A motorist was killed in a crash on the Jersey Shore, authorities said. The crash occurred about 6:30 a.m. on Route 18 southbound in Marlboro Township, police said. Route 18 South in the area of Tennent Road and Route 520 was shut down until about 10 a.m., according to Capt. Stephen Levy, a police department spokesman. The vehicle, a 2008 grey Honda Accord,  left the roadway and struck a large tree, Levy said.
