6 To 8 Inches Of Snow Could Fall In Parts Of NJ, PA: Here's The Latest Winter Storm Forecast
The first significant snowstorm of 2025 is expected to hit the region Sunday night, Jan 5, bringing up to 8 inches of snow to parts of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, according to the National Weather Service.
The storm is expected to begin late Sunday night, continuing through Monday, Jan. 6 before tapering off into Monday night.
Snow accumulations are forecast across the region, with the highest totals predicted in South Jersey (Vineland, Atlantic City, Cape May) and Philadelphia, where snowfall could reach 6 to 8 inches, new weather maps show.

NJ Postal Worker Admits Spending $54,000 On USPS Credit Cards
A post office worker in South Jersey admitted going on a $54,000 personal spending spree, buying power tools, gift cards, groceries and more with U.S. Postal Service plastic.
Austin T. Mahan, 44, of Cape May Court House, was working at the Sea Isle and Somers Point facilities when he used postal service credit cards at retail stores in and around New Jersey over a six-month period beginning in 2022, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger said.

Newly Minted Millionaire: Powerball Lottery Player Takes Home $2M In South Jersey
There is a new millionaire in South Jersey.
One lucky Powerball lottery ticket matched five of the five white balls for the Wednesday, Feb. 28, drawing.
The ticket won a $1 million second-tier prize. The ticket was purchased with the Power Play option, multiplying the win to $2 million, state Lottery officials said.
The winning ticket was sold at Smokerās Outlet, 123 W. Clements Bridge, Runnemede in Camden County.
The winning numbers for the Wednesday, Feb. 28, drawing were: 16, 26, 29, 38 and 50. The Red Power Ball number was 06. The Power Play was 2X.
