A feature film is seeking New Jersey talent for several lead roles that pay up to $4,500. Lucky Elephant Films, an independent company, is casting specifically out of Somerville for "The Family Recipe." A 30-year-old Somerset County resident was arrested and charged on Friday, July 12, with possessing child pornography, authorities said. Two South Plainfield men were recently arrested and charged with burglarizing several gas stations on Route 22 in Somerset County in May, authorities said. Driver Hospitalized After Striking Pole On Rt. 22 In Somerset County
A Route 22 driver was hospitalized after striking a pole off the highway during the evening on Sunday, July 9, responders said. The driver slammed into a pole on the eastbound side just after 8:10 p.m., the Finderne Fire Department said.
