Shooter In Custody Following Incident That Had Entire NJ Town Under Shelter In Place: Officials
A 52-year-old gunman is in custody after a shooting in New Jersey prompted a shelter-in-place order for the entire town on Tuesday, Dec. 31, officials said. The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office identified the suspect as Daniel Williams, who was being sought in connection with a shooting that occurred earlier in the afternoon. Authorities announced Williams' capture shortly after 6 p.m., bringing relief to the community.
