A pedestrian was severely injured after being struck by a vehicle in Howell Township, authorities said. The crash happened near the intersection of US Route 9 and Lanes Mill Road at around 5:17 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago said in a news release on Thursday, Dec. 5. A pedestrian who was struck by an SUV and killed in Monmouth County has been identified, authorities said. Curtis Davis, 60, of Tinton Falls, died after the crash on Friday, Mar. 29, according to a spokesperson from the Monmouth Country Prosecutor's Office.
