Dead Dolphin Washes Up At State Marina In Middletown A dead dolphin washed ashore at a state-owned marina in Monmouth County, authorities said. Middletown Mayor Tony Perry, in a Facebook post, announced that the dolphin was found Wednesday evening, March 15, at the Leonardo State Marina on the banks of Sandy Hook Bay. The city had notified state officials, Perry said. Perry asked the public to stay away from the area until the dolphin is removed by professionals.
