A high-ranking member of the Bloods with longstanding mob ties and a Passaic County man with a criminal history of his own were seized when they tried to fly to London out of Teterboro Airport with 28 pounds of cocaine and 500 pounds of pot on a private jet, federal authorities said.

Michael Stuart, 48, used a revolver to rob a 7-Eleven on Route 46 in Lodi shortly before 2:30 a.m. on April 26, authorities charged.
Using the same gun, car and clothing, Stuart held up the Garden China Restaurant on Broadway in Elmwood Park on May 10, exactly two weeks later, a complaint on file in Superior Court in Hackensack says.

Investigators from Bergen and Passaic counties cracked the March slaying of a 26-year-old Paterson man who was gunned down in the parking lot of a Lodi garden apartment complex.
Charged with murder, conspiracy and weapons offenses in the drug-related killing are Giovanni Feliciano, 22, of Garfield, and Jefersson Gonzalez, 21, of Paterson.

An out-of-state driver was arrested -- and then freed under bail reform -- after Moonachie police said they found pot, booze and a loaded gun in his car during a Route 46 traffic stop.
Officers Matthew Veltri and Frank Tamargo stopped Damian Roscoe Brooks, 39, a Paterson native now living in Elkton, MD, for driving recklessly on the eastbound highway, Police Chief Richard Behrens said.
After having him step out of his 2012 Honda Accord, the officers spotted several open alcoholic beverage containers and a Glock 9mm that turned out to be loaded with hollow-point bullets, Behrens said.
