Pair Charged With Attempted Murder After Road Rage Shooting: Prosecutor
Two people involved in a road-rage incident that culminated with a nonfatal shooting have been arrested, authorities said. Keyshawn J. Palmer, 29, of Freehold Township and Chyna R. A serious crash closed parts of Route 35 In Central Jersey, according to developing and unconfirmed reports. The crash occurred about 3:30 p.m. in the northbound lanes of the route near Chain O' Hills Road in Woodbridge Township, initial reports said. All lanes were closed northbound. A pedestrian was struck during rush hour on a busy Central Jersey roadway, according to developing and unconfirmed reports. First Responders Called To Serious Route 35 Jersey Shore Crash
Police, firefighters and EMS crews were called to a serious crash in Ocean County, authorities said. The crash was reported about 1:40 p.m. at Anna O Hankins Boulevard (Route 35) and Washington Avenue in Lavallette, initial reports said. Men Stabbed During Fight At Monmouth County McDonalds
UPDATE: Two men from Monmouth County were arrested after stabbing each other during a fight in the parking lot of a McDonalds fast-food restaurant, authorities said. Quoron Patterson, 23, and Kironn Hamilton, 31, both of Neptune Township, were treated at Jersey Shore University Medical Center after the 5 p.m. fight off of Route 35, township police said. A Point Pleasant apartment building was damaged in a fire Sunday afternoon. Smoke and flames were coming from a second floor apartment window when crews arrived at the Beacon Gardens Apartments off of Route 35 around 1:40 p.m. Crews from Point Pleasant and Wall worked to knock down the blaze, which was under control in approximately 20 minutes. While no injuries were reported, one dog died in the blaze, according to Jersey Shore Fire Response. A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle while crossing Route 35 in Monmouth County on Tuesday evening, authorities said. John Hebeler, 29, of Tuckerton, was hit as he crossed the four-lane highway in Holmdel at about 7:15 p.m., the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office said. A 69-year-old man from Central Jersey has died as a result of a car-pedestrian collision, authorities said.
