Two $10K Mega Millions Tickets Purchased In Central Jersey Two lottery tickets worth $10,000 were sold in Middlesex and Monmouth counties, officials said. The winning Mega Millions tickets were purchased in the drawing on Friday, Sept. 6, the New Jersey Lottery said in a news release on Monday, Sept. 9. The winners were sold at the E-Z Chek food store on Main Street in Sayreville and the ShopRite supermarket on Route 35 in Hazlet. The winning numbers were 6, 23, 41, 59, and 63. The Mega Ball was 25. The new Wawa will be open at 3052 Route 35 in Hazlet on Thursday, June 27, the company said in a news release.  The store will officially open at 8 a.m. and a grand opening ceremony will be held at 8:30 a.m. The first 100 customers will get free "In My Wawa Era 60th Anniversary" t-shirts.  After a ribbon cutting, the store will have the "Hoagies for Heroes" sandwich-building competition between police officers and firefighters.…

$100K Powerball Ticket Sold At Central Jersey Supermarket A Powerball ticket worth $100,000 was purchased at a Monmouth County supermarket, officials said. The winner was sold at the ShopRite grocery store on Route 35 in Hazlet, the New Jersey Lottery said in a news release. The ticket matched four numbers and the Powerball in the drawing on Saturday, June 1. The winning numbers were 28, 38, 52, 54, and 68. The Powerball was 8. The ticket also had a Power Play multiplier of two. No one won the estimated $162 million jackpot. The next Powerball drawing is on Monday, June 3 and the jackpot is an estimated $171 million.
