Pedestrian Struck Crossing Route 9 In Marlboro A pedestrian was struck by a car on Sunday night as he crossed Route 9 in Monmouth County, authorities said. Nathanial Martinez was crossing the highway about 9:10 p.m. when he was struck in a northbound lane near Willow Lane, according to Marlboro Township police. Martinez was struck by a Kia Seltos driven by Lauren Wlodarski, 26, of Rockaway, police said.  Martinez was taken by the Morganville First Aid Squad to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital with broken bones and internal injuries, according to police  The cause of the crash is under investigation…

Central Police ID Pickup Truck Driver Killed After Slamming Snowbank, Tree Off Route 1 Authorities have identified the driver of a pickup truck who was killed Thursday after slamming into a snowbank and tree in South Brunswick. Andrew Malouf, 73, of the Kendall Park section of town, is believed to have suffered a medical problem causing him to veer off Henderson Road, police said. The crash was reported about 10:40 a.m. about 100 yards west of Route 1.
