Angelo Grenci, 47, of Berkeley Township, pleaded guilty on Monday, Jan. 29 to aggravated manslaughter, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer announced on Tuesday, Jan. 30. Grenci was charged in the killing of 50-year-old Carlton Williams. Prosecutors will pursue a prison sentence of 25 years for Grenci. DPW Worker Survives Lightning Strike In Central Jersey A 39-year-old worker for the Woodbridge Department of Public Works survived a lightning strike, authorities said. He was working on a soccer field at Iselin Middle School during the Wednesday, June 14 strike. Police Officer R.J. McPartland, a certified EMT, was at a nearby school when the emergency was called in. McPartland arrived within minutes and restored the man’s pulse, township officials said. The DPW worker was taken to Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center where he was listed in stable condition, they said.
