Twenty-five landlords are facing fines after state officials said they violated state laws by considering potential tenants' criminal histories. According to NJ Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin and the Division on Civil Rights (DCR), the notices of violation allege that the housing providers violated the law by, among other things, asking criminal history-related questions on housing applications that are prohibited by the law. Police in Manchester are seeking the public's help in locating a 24-year-old woman last heard from more than two weeks ago. Erin Garofalo last spoke to her family on the phone on Thursday, July 25, police in Manchester said. A woman was attacked by a man inside a library at Princeton University, authorities said. The attack happened inside the Lewis Science Library at about 12:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 5, the university's Department of Public Safety said in a campus alert. 80-Year-Old 'Careless Driver' Injured In Route 206 Crash: Police
An 80-year-old Princeton woman was injured and cited for careless driving after causing a two-car crash in Montgomery on Thursday, May 2, authorities said. At 12:52 pm, the woman was driving a 2009 Honda northbound on Route 206 near Applegarth Road when she rear-ended a 2017 Chevrolet pickup truck that was stuck in traffic, Montgomery police said on Facebook.
