Toms River Woman Posed As Doctor, Prescribed Medicine Without A License: Prosecutor A 62-year-old woman from Toms River has been charged with multiple offenses including practicing medicine without a license, authorities said. Maria F. Macburnie, also known as Marife L. Macburnie, was additionally charged with forgery, drug dealing and health care claims fraud, they said.
