Wildwood Woman, 75, Killed In Early Morning Garden State Parkway Crash: Troopers
A Wildwood woman died after an early morning crash on the Garden State Parkway in Port Republic, authorities said. Audrey McCash, 75, was killed in the crash on Saturday, Sept. 28, a state police spokesperson said. Troopers responded to the wreck near milepost 46.6 on the southbound side of the parkway at around 12:26 a.m. Investigators said a Subaru Outback went off the parkway and struck several trees. McCash was rushed to a hospital where she was pronounced dead. The 76-year-old Wildwood man who drove the SUV was injured in the crash. He was expected to survive his injuries. …

Trio Killed In Parkway Crash Mourned By Loved Ones
Condolences were pouring in Tuesday, Aug. 8 for the three victims killed in last weekend's crash on the Garden State Parkway. Sabrina Kontos, 24, of Ocean Grove, Dion Bullock, 27, of Asbury Park, and Omar Williams, 28, of Eatontown, all died in the 9:50 p.m. accident in Port Republic (Atlantic County) Sunday, Aug. 6, New Jersey State Police said. Three people were killed in a crash when their car left the Garden State Parkway and struck a tree, authorities said. The crash occurred at 9:52 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 6 on the southbound lanes of the highway near milepost 44.6 in Port Republic in Atlantic County, according to New Jersey State Police. A Kia struck the rear of a Toyota, causing the Kia to lose control and run off the road and hit a tree, State Police said. South Jersey Man Arrested In Head-On Crash That Killed Motorcyclist: Prosecutor
A South Jersey man has been arrested in connection with a head-on crash that killed a motorcyclist, authorities said. Steven Hanlin of Egg Harbor City was arrested on Monday by New Jersey State Police and members of the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Officer, according to Prosecutor Cary Shill. The fatal crash occurred on Oct. 3, 2020, on Clarks Landing Road in Port Republic, Shill said. State Police: 8 Injured In Work Van Crash On Garden State Parkway
Eight people were injured after a work van collided with a minivan on the Garden State Parkway In Atlantic County Tuesday afternoon, state police said. The work van crashed into a minivan, causing the minivan to overturn in the northbound lanes near milepost 47.3 in Port Republic just before 2:35 p.m., NJSP Sgt. Philip Curry told Daily Voice. The eight occupants of the minivan suffered non-life-threatening injuries, Curry said. The crash remains under investigation, authorities said.
