These 10 NJ Stop & Shop Stores Have Closed
New Jersey officially has 10 fewer Stop & Shop stores.
The 10 underperforming locations closed were among 32 nationwide that the grocer announced would be closing by year's end.
Stop & Shop has kept 350 stores open, including 47 in New Jersey.
The stores that closed on or before Nov. 2 were:

More Than 13,000 Without Power On Jersey Shore After Substation Failure
Thousands of residents in two Ocean County townships were without power after severe thunderstorms raced across the northeast and caused a substation to fail, officials said.
According to the outage map for Jersey Central Power & Light, 13,688 customers had no electricity as of 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 27. More than 13,000 of those affected were living in Barnegat or Waretown.

A Brick Township man was accused of selling several types of drugs throughout Ocean County, authorities said.
Brandon O'Shea, 40, was facing 13 drug-related charges after a two-month investigation, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer announced in a news release on Thursday, May 30. Investigators identified a Brick Township home that O'Shea used to store cocaine and marijuana for drug sales.

Five Ocean County Cocaine Dealers Face Charges: Prosecutor
Five Ocean County residents were arrested as part of an investigation into cocaine sales, authorities said.
This cooperative, multi-agency investigation identified a residence in Point Pleasant Beach as being utilized by Pablo Lezama, 43, Magdaleno Navasantos, 45, Felix Pacheco, 31, Miguel Alonso, 27, and Angel Pacheco, 44, all of Point Pleasant Beach, to store and distribute cocaine, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D.
