In March 2022, police began investigating after an 8-year-old said Raul Elias of Manville sexually assaulted her, the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office said.  Elias was subsequently convicted of endangering the welfare of a child in March 2024 after a three-day trial, authorities said. James Hunt, of Threadleaf Terrace admitted to the crime in exchange for a three-year state prison sentence, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina.
