19 NJ Retailers Fined $4,500 For Selling Illegal Flavored Vape Products, AG Says Nineteen retailers across New Jersey are facing $4,500 after an investigation found they'd been selling flavored vape products banned in the Garden State, the NJ Attorney General's Office said. All 19 stores were issued a Notice of Violation after they were found to have violated the state's consumer protection laws, AG Matthew Platkin said. Rashid Ali Bynum, 28, of Portsmouth, VA, was extradited on Thursday, July 27, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone alongside Chief Daniel Plumacker of the Sayreville Police Department. Joshua Goldberg, of Scotch Plains, was walking on the Oak Tree Road overpass in Woodbridge when he fell over, landing on the roadway near milepost 132.1 around 5:25 p.m., New Jersey State Police told NJ.com.
