Popular Jersey Shore Eatery Loses License To Stay Open
A legal dispute between Holiday Snack Bar and Beach Haven officials will close the popular eatery indefinitely, its owners said. Beach Haven officials on April 20 denied Holiday Snack Bar a mercantile license for the 2023 season. That means the restaurant can't operate past Sunday, May 14, when its current license expires. A change that will allow more restaurants to offer outdoor dining will soon take effect in New Jersey. Reopening Date Set For NJ Indoor Dining, Casinos
Indoor dining can resume at 25 percent capacity in New Jersey on July 2, Gov. Phil Murphy said Monday in a tweet. Casinos can reopen the same day, also at 25 percent capacity, the governor said. Additional health and safety guidance will be released within the next several days, he added.
