Man Charged With Fatally Punching Bicyclist On Jersey Shore: Prosecutor
A 40-year-old man is accused of punching another man on a bicycle, killing him, authorities said.
Anthony Collins, of Seaside Heights, was charged with manslaughter and endangering an injured victim in connection with the death of Robert May, 70, of Seaside Heights, on Oct. 1, in the Borough of Seaside Heights, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.

A man, woman, and dog were found dead in an Ocean County murder-suicide early Saturday, July 29, authorities said.
UPDATE: Police have identified the gunman as a 52-year-old man who killed his ex-wife, Kimberly Hoffman.
The unidentified 49-year-old woman called Little Egg Harbor police around 5:10 a.m., saying she thought someone was breaking into her Whitemarsh Court apartment, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer and Little Egg Harbor Township Chief of Police James Hawkins said.

Mike D'Amore was being mourned by many after an ATV crash that killed him in Lacey.
D'Amore, 58, of Jackson, was riding on a 2019 Polaris Razor side-by-side off road vehicle, in an open dirt area of Lacey Materials when he hit a dirt embankment and went airborne around 5:20 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, local police said.

A family of three Chinese nationals were killed when the Maryland driver of the car they were in ran a red light in Ocean County, authorities said.
Tina Dung, 21, was stopped for the traffic light, but then went through the red signal and collided with a Legacy Towing flatbed wrecker heading east on Lakehurst Road around 12:25 a.m. Friday, July 22, Toms River police said.
The three passengers in Dung’s car, all citizens of China, were killed as a result of the collision. They included a 54-year-old man, 52-year-old woman and 23-year-old man, all from the same family, police said.

A 59-year-old woman was killed in a two-car crash on the Jersey Shore, authorities said.
On Sunday, Feb. 20 at 3:53 p.m., Barnegat police responded to Barnegat Boulevard North and Cole Drive for a report of a motor vehicle crash.
Police found the driver of one of the vehicles, Alice Toriello, 59, of Barnegat unconscious and unresponsive.
Officers performed life-saving measures on Toriello who was transported to Southern Ocean Medical Center where she was later pronounced dead, police said.
