The Ocean City resident missed the Final Jeopardy question to lose to Andy Tirrell, a political science and international relations professor from San Diego. They faced this clue under the “Plays” category: "A 1609 story in which an exiled king of Bulgaria creates a sea palace with his magic may have inspired the plot of this play." Jersey Shore Man Is Latest Jeopardy! Champ The newest Jeopardy! champion hails from the Jersey Shore. Cris Pannullo, of Ocean City, beat out four-day champ David Sibley, winning $29,579. Pannullo went into Final Jeopardy with $29,800. The question? "While working for British Naval Intelligence during World War II, he was code-named 17F." While Pannullo did not guess the correct answer, he did wagered $221 and won. He will compete again Monday night.

Community Support Grows For PA Family Of Ocean City Drowning Victim Community support is growing for the Pennsylvania family of a 56-year-old man who drowned in Ocean City. Shawn Reilly, of Thornhurst, was on vacation with his wife, Nicole, and their 21-year-old son when he was pulled under by strong currents on Thursday, Sept. 8, DailyVoice.com reported. Reilly's 21-year-old son jumped in to try and save him, but it was too late.
