Dad Killed In NJ Crash Was Driving Home From Work, Loved Ones Say Support is on the rise for a New Jersey family after their patriarch was killed in a crash after work. Alex Folnagy, 31, of Somerset, was the sole occupant of the 2010 Nissan Altima that crashed head-on with a 2018 Jeep Wrangler just before 7:25 a.m. on Amwell Road near South Middlebush Road in Franklin Township, Franklin Township police said. Folnagy was pronounced dead at the scene while the driver and passenger of the Wrangler sustained non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Woman, 21, Shot At Large House Party In Central Jersey A 21-year-old woman was shot at a large party Friday night, June 7 in Highland Park, authorities said. Police were dispatched to the 200 block of South 7th Avenue at about 11:30 p.m. after getting a call about a disturbance. They found the woman shot three times, Highland Park police said. Emergency workers brought the woman to an area hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police said. No arrests had been made. Police from Edison assisted Highland Park police. The crash was reported at about 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 22 near milepost 61 southbound in Little Egg Harbor Township. The occupants suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to New Jersey State Police.

Man Shot In South Jersey Home Invasion Robbery A homeowner was shot during a robbery in Atlantic County, authorities said. The home invasion break-in was about 6:45 a.m. Tuesday  in Buena Borough, according to Franklin Township police.  The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries, police said, when he was shot at his home on Summer Avenue. It is considered to be an isolated incident and there was no immediate threat to the general public, police said.  Anyone with information about the robber is urged to call Franklin Township detectives at 856-694-1415.
