An SUV apparently was being pursued when it crashed and its three occupants bailed out at the intersection of Springdale and Arlington avenues near the Garden State Parkway overpass around noon on March 26. Woman Struck, Killed By NJ Transit Train A woman was struck and killed by a NJ Transit train in Camden County, authorities said. She was hit just south of the Lindenwold station by Atlantic City Rail Line train 4612 at about 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, a NJ Transit spokesman said. Service between Atco and Cherry Hill was temporarily suspended in both directions. There were about 160 passengers and crew on the train, which left Atlantic City at 6:49 a.m. and was due in Philadelphia at 8:28 a.m. The woman’s name was not immediately available. New Jersey Transit Police are leading the investigation.

The pedestrian was hit at about 11:50 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15 just before the train station, NJ Transit officials said. North Jersey Coast Line train 4398 left Bay Head at 11:34 p.m., destined for Long Branch. It was the final shuttle train of the night. There were six people aboard, officials said. No passengers or crew were hurt. The pedestrian’s name had not been released. New Jersey Transit Police are leading the investigation.

Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Train In Princeton A pedestrian was struck and killed by a train in Princeton Friday, Nov. 4, authorities said. Northeast Corridor train 3953, which had left form Penn station New York, struck the victim around 6:35 p.m. at Princeton Junction station, NJ Transit officials said. No injuries were reported to the customers or the crew on board. Northeast Corridor service was temporarily suspended in both directions but has since resumed.   Amtrak police were leading the investigation with assistance from New Jersey Transit Police.
