Four Marina Employees Suffer Smoke Inhalation During Boat Fire In Wildwood, Firefighters Say Four people suffered smoke inhalation after a large boat caught fire at a marina in Wildwood, officials said. The fire started on the boat docked at Schooner Island Marina at around 12:39 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22, the City of Wildwood Fire Department said in a Facebook post. When firefighters arrived, they found the roughly 42-foot boat named "Luv-It" engulfed in flames. The fire spread to the dock and a nearby small shed. The boat eventually sank from the weight of the water firefighters sprayed to extinguish the flames and foam was used to put out a fuel fire on the water. …

The boat had made it into the Englewood Marina at the foot of the Palisades in Englewood Cliffs just north of the George Washington Bridge when he fell off shortly after 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Palisades Interstate Parkway Police Lt. Unique Tattoo Could Help ID Body Found Off NJ Coast Police are hoping that a unique tattoo resembling a solar eclipse will help them identify a body found off the coast New Jersey coast last month. The New Jersey State Police Marine Services Bureau responded to reports of a body found about a mile off the shoreline of Sea Bright (Monmouth County) just before 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 29. The body is described as a male between 20 to early 40s, around 5’ 11”, approximately 190 pounds, wearing dark blue jeans, a black belt and black Nike sneakers.  He has a distinct tattoo on the right shoulder which resembles a solar eclipse.
