An Atlantic County grand jury indicted an ex-convict accused of killing a Pleasantville man in a driveway, authorities said. Jerome Holley, 41, of Absecon, was indicted on Tuesday, Feb. 6, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said. Holley has been charged in the killing of 45-year-old Mamadou Toure. Pleasantville police responded to a shooting on West Pleasant Avenue at around 8:41 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 9, 2023. A 17-year-old boy from Old Bridge has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with a hit-and-run crash that followed a fight with a Wawa worker, authorities said. An Atlantic City man is charged in connection with one of the city's two deadly stabbings on New Year's Day, authorities said. Gavin Guzman, 23, was arrested on Saturday, Jan. 13, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office announced on Tuesday, Jan. 16. Two men were sentenced to prison time for their roles in what prosecutors called an "execution-style" double murder of a young man and woman in Neptune Township nearly two years ago.
