Motorcyclist, 47, Killed In Somerset County Crash: Prosecutor
A 47-year-old Montgomery resident, was killed in a motorcycle crash in Manville on Sunday, Sept. 15, authorities said.
At 5:32 p.m., Manville police responded to South Main Street and Roosevelt Avenue and found a motorcyclist who had sustained critical injuries from a crash, Somerset County Prosecutor John McDonald, Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Chief of County Detectives Francisco Roman Jr., and Manville Borough Police Department Deputy Chief Craig Jeremiah said.

Man Yelled Racial Slurs In Person's Backyard On July 4, Montgomery Police Say
Police in Montgomery are looking for a man who yelled a racial slur at a couple while on their property on the evening of Thursday, July 4.
That evening, the couple observed an elderly man in their backyard, Montgomery police said in a release. When the couple confronted the man, he started harassing them and yelled a racial slur, police said.
The man left the property but was observed later walking through the neighborhood. The man was last seen wearing jeans, a pink polo shirt, glasses, and a camo style ball cap and he spoke with an accent, police said.

Driver, 31, Killed When Car Barrels Through Guardrail, Overturns In NJ Embankment
A 31-year-old New Brunswick man was killed when his car crashed into a guardrail in Montgomery on the early morning of Saturday, March 16, authorities said.
At 6:10 a.m., Erik Rivera was driving a 2011 Lexus east on Belle Mead-Griggstown Road when he collided with the guardrail at an intersection, Montgomery police said.
The vehicle left the roadway and ended up overturned in an embankment, partially submerged in water, police said.
Rivera was extricated by first responders and transported to a nearby hospital where he died from his injuries, police said.

Colombian Nationals Nabbed After NJ Home Break-In Nets Jewelry, Furs, Cash, More
Three Colombian nationals remain in federal custody and a fourth has already been deported after the government said they stole jewelry, a Rolex, an antique rifle, furs and cash in a home burglary in Union County.
The quartet also took a stamp collection, luxury bags and more after breaking into the Cranford home shortly before 5 p.m. last Nov. 30, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger said.

Authorities: Car Burglar Admits Breaking Into 2,000 Vehicles In New Jersey, Pennsylvania
Authorities have arrested a suspect who admits breaking into about 2,000 vehicles in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Keith A. Johnson, 33, of Yardley, in Bucks County, PA, is charged with numerous counts of theft and burglary, as well as 76 counts of loitering/prowling at night, according to the Bucks County District Attorney's office.
Johnson also admitted to stealing $140,000 in cash during a burglary in Philadelphia, detectives said in court papers, according to NJ Advance Media.
When police searched Johnson's home, they found $30,000 in cash, plus items stolen from cars, they said.

Bada Bean Cawfee, a coffee shop inspired by hit HBO show "The Sopranos," is opening four New Jersey locations.
