Woman Cited For Careless Driving After Overturning Vehicle: Montgomery PD
A driver was given a summons for careless driving after their vehicle overturned in Montgomery Township on Thursday, July 18, authorities said. At 11:58 a.m., first responders were on the scene of an overturned vehicle at Route 518 near Brecknell Way, Montgomery Police said in a release. The driver, a 37-year-old Skillman woman was operating 2020 Mini eastbound on Route 518 when she drifted over the fog line and impacted the trailer of a landscape truck parked along the shoulder, police said. Driver Runs Red Light Causing Somerset County Crash: Police
A 32-year-old Hillsborough resident was injured in a car crash in Montgomery on the morning of Tuesday, April 23, when the driver of the other vehicle ran a red light, authorities said. At 7:35 a.m., a 2017 Mini Cooper was driven by a 40-year-old Princeton resident was heading westbound on Cherry Valley Road when it failed to stop for a red light and struck a 2023 Kia Forte that had entered the intersection going southbound on Great Road, Montgomery police said. NJ State Police Seek Public's Help In Fatal Hit-Run Garden State Parkway Crash
New Jersey State Police seek the public’s help with the investigation of a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred on the Garden State Parkway in Central Jersey. Based on the preliminary investigation, detectives determined that at 12:27 a.m., on Sept. 19, a Jeep Grand Cherokee and a Mini Cooper were traveling northbound in the express lanes of the parkway in Old Bridge Township. In the area of milepost 121.6, a collision occurred between the two vehicles and a third unknown vehicle which fled the scene, State Police said. State Police ID Driver Killed In Garden State Parkway Crash
A 39-year-old driver from Teaneck was killed in an overnight crash on the Garden State Parkway in Central Jersey, authorities said. Gabriel Farias was heading north in a Mini Cooper next to a Jeep Grand Cherokee when the two vehicles sideswiped each other around 12:26 a.m. Monday, Sept. 19 near exit 120 in Old Bridge, New Jersey State Police said. The Mini Cooper then struck a concrete barrier, a guardrail and subsequently overturned, police said. Farias died as a result of the crash, authorities said. There is an ongoing investigation.

A driver slammed a brand-new MINI Cooper into the divider on Route 4 in Teaneck, then ran off into nearby woods before dawn Saturday, authorities confirmed. The MINI was totaled and two other vehicles damaged in the overnight chain-reaction crash, which closed the westbound highway for hours. The MINI, which had temporary Maryland license tags, sideswiped an SUV, forcing it into the median around 2:30 a.m., witnesses told police.
