Stolen Autos Reported In Central Jersey Stolen Autos Reported In Central Jersey
Stolen Autos Reported In Central Jersey There were a couple of reports of stolen vehicles In Central Jersey. One came out of Middletown about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday and involved a blue 2020 BMW, initial reports said. An unconfirmed report said that it was taken from an Acme lot on Newman Springs Road. The second report of a stolen came out of Red Bank about 2:15 p.m. The Investigation is still ongoing at this time and the vehicle has not yet been recovered, Cpl. Janine Kennedy of the Middletown Police Department said. Red Bank were not immediately available for comment.  CHECK BACK FOR UPDATES

AG: Armed Robber Shot, Killed After Stabbing Officer At Jersey Shore Drugstore (Update) UPDATE: An armed robber who stabbed a Keansburg police officer was shot and killed by police at a local drug store Thursday afternoon, authorities said. Multiple officers fired at the robber at the Keansburg Pharmacy in Keansburg Plaza on Main Street shortly before 3:30 p.m., Acting New Jersey Attorney General Andrew J. Bruck said.  He was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later, the attorney general said. His identity was temporarily being withheld. The officer was taken to Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel. Three other officers were hospitalized for evaluations, responders said…

Motorist Trapped, Airlifted In Central Jersey Garden State Parkway Crash Firefighters, police and EMS crews were called to a serious crash, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 1:45 p.m. Tuesday near mile-marker 112.7 of the Garden State Parkway northbound in MIddletown, initial reports said. Nicholas Reed, 34, Worked As Accountant, Chef Nicholas Matthew Reed, 34, of Asbury Park, died Thursday in Trenton.  He worked as an accountant as well as a chef, his obituary says.  He was born in Red Bank in 1987 and grew up in Marlboro.  He earned a Master's Degree in Business from Rutgers University. In addition to his work as an accountant, he was a chef for Mogo. Nicholas enjoyed music, history, soccer, swimming, walking and spending time with friends and family. He will be remembered for his beautiful smile and kind heart.  Surviving are his mother, Kathy Reed; two sisters, Madison Reed and Mackenzie Cooled…
