A 22-year-old woman was tired and not wearing her seatbelt when her Jeep overturned on Route 70 early Saturday morning, killing her, authorities said. Manchester police believe fatigue may have been a factor in the 2:10 a.m. crash that left Margaret Palilonis dead, Jersey Shore Online reports. Jersey Shore House Cleaner, 38, Charged With Stealing Jewelry From Elderly Residents
A 38-year-old New Jersey house cleaner has been charged with stealing jewelry from several elderly clients, authorities said. Linda Kreig of Wrightsown was charged last Tuesday with multiple counts of theft after a yearlong investigation, Manchester police said. Manchester police officers responded to several homes where the victims reported their jewelry had been stolen by a woman working for a Toms River-based company between May and December 2019, authorities said. An ex-convict from Ocean County has been sentenced to 22 years in state prison for killing a man during a drug deal, authorities said. John T. Mullen, Jr., 51, of Seaside Heights was sentenced on an aggravated manslaughter charge on Monday by Superior Court Judge Guy P. Ryan. Mullen tried to steal Xanax from a 33-year-old Manchester man during a failed drug deal on Oct. 20, 2019, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer. Thomas J.
